- The Discovery Museum
The Discover Museum in Newcastle hosts a range of fantastic family fun each Easter. This has been known to include spring themed crafts, a toy train and a scientist’s area too. There will also be a chance for your children to win prizes while learning about the exhibitions throughout the museum.

There is nature inspired activities and chocolatey goodness for the whole family to enjoy.
- Life Science Centre
Each year the easter holidays come round you will see that the Life Science Centre has an easter program jam-packed with exciting and educational activities for all ages. The Life Science Centre is the perfect way to break up the easter holidays while letting he kids have fun while they learn new things.
- The Sage Gateshead
The Sage Gateshead is well worth a visit any time of the year. It is one of the regions most iconic buildings and for good reason too. During the easter holidays you will find that they put on a variety of events and activities. These include a musical egg hunt, colouring challenges, easter themed arts and crafts, live music and more. The Sage Gateshead kindly put on the event for free, but there will be a small charge for the activities.
- Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal
Every springtime the Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal put on a selection of events and activities to keep the whole family entertained. Previously, their events have included the little lambs craft workshop, the hunt for the tiny golden egg, an egg and spoon race and egg rolling competitions. There is often a competition for the best decorated egg too, so make sure yours is ready.

Spring time is about baby animals and new beginnings for many people. Why not go along to Castle Howard where you can go to their mini farm and meet rabbits, ducks, lambs, mini pigs and the mini pony? In previous years the castle has put on various easter craft activities and even bought in the fair for the whole family to enjoy.
